Cookies and browser storage

Storage Choices

The supplied website keeps its interactive features local and does not include analytics or advertising cookies.

What the supplied pages use

The site’s own HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not set cookies or write to local storage or session storage. Navigation, equipment tabs, disclosures and checklist counters work without a saved visitor profile. There are no embedded advertising, analytics or social-media services in these pages.

This describes the supplied website code. Hosting infrastructure or separately installed services can have their own behaviour. If such services are introduced, the published storage information and any required consent controls must reflect the actual deployment.

Temporary page state

The menu’s open state, selected equipment tab and checklist totals are held within the current page. The site does not intentionally retain them between visits. Some browsers may independently restore form values or page state when you navigate back or restore a session.

Scroll reveals use browser observation of visible page elements. They do not report your scrolling activity to an analytics endpoint.

Contact drafts, copying and downloads

The contact composer keeps your prepared message in page memory. It does not automatically send the message or store the draft in browser storage. Refreshing or leaving the page may lose your work, although your browser may offer its own restoration features.

Choosing Copy text requests access to your device’s clipboard. Your browser may ask permission or refuse access. Clipboard contents and clipboard history are managed by your device. Choosing Download .txt creates a file that remains until you delete it or your device removes it. Neither feature is a cookie.

Browser caching and delivery

Your browser may cache static files to load the site efficiently. Cache behaviour depends on browser settings and hosting response headers. It is distinct from an advertising cookie. The hosting provider may also process technical delivery and security information as described in Logbook Privacy.

Managing your device

You can review or clear website data, cached files, saved form details and clipboard history through the relevant browser or device settings. Deleting a downloaded note requires removing the file from its saved location and, if necessary, any backups. Blocking cookies does not prevent the supplied page tools from working, although disabling JavaScript removes the enhanced menu, tabs, counters and composer controls.

External websites linked from this site may use their own cookies. Review their notices before using their services. To ask about storage behaviour, write to [email protected].
